The chapter did not meet this month.

March 20, 2001 - Joint Meeting with NACE
Location: Blake's Restaurant, Walnut Creek
The speaker had to cancel at the last minute.  The meeting went on and in place of a formal presentation there was a lively, informal discussion.

April 11, 2001 - Community College Student Awards Night

Events

John Dorn Award: This award is given to a Ph.D. student in the last year of his or her studies.  This year the award went to Matt Gasch, U. C. Davis.

Scholastic Achievement Award: This award is given to outstanding students from U. C. Berkeley and U. C. Davis. This year awards were given to: Steven Brogden, Jennifer Heelan and Rebecca Smith, all from U. C. Davis.

Outstanding Community College Student Awards
This award is given to outstanding students in academic and technical programs at regional community colleges. Two nominations from each school are considered. This year the awards were given to:
