Sponsoring a Student's Attending ASM Materials Camp
Late in the 2002-2003 year ASM contacted us to let us know that a high
school student from our area, Alan Luu from San Francisco wanted to attend
Materials Camp in Seattle during the summer of 2003 but that he needed some
financial support. The chapter sponsored him for the cost of his round
trip air fare, but asked that he come to one of our meetings during the
following year to give us a report. We were unable to get Alan to one of
our meetings this year so we have asked him to write us a brief report that we
could include in a newsletter and/or or web site.
